“Matka” starring Varun Tej and directed by Karuna Kumar are dedicated to capturing the atmosphere of the 1980s and 1990s, as the story unfolds during that time period.
They are paying close attention on each and every small inch to give an authentic retro feel.
They have also focused on the music ensuring that the songs composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar evoke vintage vibes. The recent poster featuring Nora Fatehi showcases her in a classic 1980s heroine look striking a pose like a glamorous star on a vibrant set.
Nora Fatehi’s dance sequences are expected to be a highlight of the movie, choreographed by Jani Master known for his work on popular songs like “Ra Ra Rakkamma” and “Kavalayya.”
The Hyderabad schedule alone cost the makers 15 crores, where they filmed not only songs and dialogues but also intense fight scenes.
Additionally, a new schedule has commenced in Vizag. Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments are jointly producing the film, with Meenakshi Chaudhary playing another lead role.
