Krish’s magnum opus, Gautamiputra Satakarni starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shriya Saran and Hema Malini, has reportedly sold Ceded area rights for whopping 9.5 Crores to Varahi Chalana Chitra. This period drama tells the life and times of great king Gautamiputra Satakarni of Satavahna Empire who rule Amaravathi from 78 AD to 102 AD. National Award winning director Krish has completed shooting some crucial scenes and Rajasuya Yagam episodes in Madhya Pradesh Schedule.
At present, the pre-release theatrical business of GPS is not less than 55 crores. Makers are simultaneously started working on the VFX works of the film. This prestigious movie is being produced by First Frame Entertainments and is set to release for Sankranthi, 2017.
