Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni is directed by National Award winning Jagarlamuldi Krish and produced by Y Rajeev Reddy, Jagarlamudi Saibabu on First Frame Entertainments banner. The present schedule is under commencement in Madhya Pradesh. Balakrishna, Hema Malini and Shriya Saran are participating in this key schedule where crucial scenes are planned for the shoot.

On September 6th, director Krish began to film the imperial sacrifice Rajasuya Yagam. Historical evidences and Puranic references mention the existence of only two great kings Dharma Raju and Satavahana Emperor Gautamiputra Satakarni to have performed this epic ritual. Currently, Krish and Balakrishna are recreating those spectacular ancient moments with shooting underway in Madhya Pradesh.

These moments also coincide with prominence of a bygone era when King Satakarni prefixed his mother Gautami’s name to change and declare his name as Gautamiputra Satakarni. On the same day, it was announced as beginning of new era and we formally began to organize the celebration of Ugadi festival every year, since then. Coincidentally, Balakrishna is well organizing the activities as Chairman of Indo American Cancer Hospital named after his mother Basavatarakam making Telugu people all over the world feel proud. A rare fortuity, September 6th and Swathi Nakshatram happen to be the birth day of Mokshagna and birth star of Legendary NTR respectively. It is a divine initiative and blessing from senior NTR to start the filming of Rajasuya Sacrifice on this same reverential day.

Gautamiputra Satakarni is an interesting project narrating the untold story of a greatest Telugu warrior emperor which entire world should know about. The technical extravaganza is sure to go beyond our expectations in exquisite hands of director Krish with high budget bankrolled by Rajeev Reddy and Jagarlamudi Krish. This fourth schedule began on August 29 in Madhya Pradesh will continue till September 20.
