Tamil director Gautam Vasudev Menon made his Telugu debut quite some time ago, with Naga Chaitanya’s Ye Maya Chesave. However, the director never made his acting debut in Telugu. Gautam Menon is quite famous for being seen in some minor to key roles in his films, and other films as well, having established himself as a good actor.
He is now all set for his Telugu acting debut, with Hanu Raghavapudi’s Sita Ramam, featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna in a supporting role. The teaser and the first song from Sita Ramam, which were released a few days ago, received a very good response from the audience.
Sita Ramam is being produced under the Vyjayanthi Network banner, by C Aswini Dutt. The film features Dulquer Salmaan as a military officer, and is a love story. The movie is all set to be released on August 5th.
