Gauahar Khan Busts Myths Around C-Section Deliveries

Gauahar Khan has addressed the misinformation around C-section deliveries, following a controversial comment by actor Suniel Shetty.

During an interview, Suniel Shetty praised his daughter Athiya for opting for a natural birth and called C-section “a comfort everyone wants,” which led to online backlash.

In the first episode of her digital series MaNoranjan, Gauahar strongly disagreed, saying it’s wrong to label C-sections as the easier option.

She stressed that such myths are harmful and dismissive of the real pain women go through during childbirth. Gauahar pointed out that the choice between natural and C-section delivery is often beyond a woman’s control and doesn’t define her strength as a mother.

She also shared that many ask about her own delivery, and clarified that she had a C-section while delivering her son Zehaan, adding that both methods are equally tough.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty has apologized and said his statement was misunderstood.
