Recently, Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma claimed that Sunny Deol was the only actor in South films who could have performed the hammer scene as well as he did.
The premiere of Sunny Deol’s highly awaited movie Gadar 2 has been eagerly anticipated by viewers. The August 11 release of the sequel will compete at the box office with Oh My God 2, starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi. In other news, the censor board debate may cause OMG 2 to be delayed. The official trailer for the movie, which was only released with just a few days until release, appears to have received mixed reviews.
In the midst of the confusion, the movie’s director, Anil Sharma, compared one of Sunny Deol’s moments to South Indian movies and claimed that no one could do it better than him.
The director of Gadar 2 recently discussed being questioned about how he would feel if some of the sequences were shot in South Indian films. He recalled telling them that while every popular South Indian actor could perform it, Sunny Deol would still be the superior choice. “I asked them, ‘Jo Bollywood aur South ke bade bade hero hai, woh yeh scene karte toh kaise lagta?'” Anil Sharma stated in a statement to Bollywood Hungama. They all agreed, “‘Woh log karte toh bhi accha lagta lekin jaise Sunny sir lag rahe hai, waisa koi nahin lagta.'”
In the same interview, he also discussed how he persuaded Sunny Deol to participate in the sequel and how he ultimately heard the narration.
Sunny reportedly said, “Gadar itni badi hit hai. Gadar has been a big success and leaves behind its own legacy, so to speak. “Kyunki poora Hindustan chahta hai ki Gadar 2 banein,” I retorted. Sunni chahiye humein logon ki. He then consented to a narration. Unki aankhon mein nanha sa ek aansoo aaya’ was his reaction after hearing the tale. That’s how the trip started, according to Anil Sharma.
