Fans waited nearly a decade for a big hit from Pawan Kalyan, and Gabbar Singh delivered it in style. After a few flops, this movie brought back his strong form. Though it was a remake of Dabangg, Pawan’s performance and Harish Shankar’s dialogues made it feel fresh.
Produced by Bandla Ganesh, the film became a huge box office success from day one. Released on May 11, 2012, Gabbar Singh now completes 14 years.

Gabbar Singh had a break-even target of Rs. 38 crore and collected Rs. 60.16 crore share in its full run. It gave buyers a profit of Rs. 22.16 crore and became an all-time blockbuster. The film also earned around Rs. 8.3 crore during its re-release.
