Gaana of Republic: A peppy commentary on freedom

Deva Katta is one director who is known to make intriguing films, ones that always comment on some aspect of human life. His film Prasthanam is still talked about, to this date, considering its invaluable content matter, one that all of us should remember forever.

Deva Katta is now gearing up to entertain the audiences with another interesting film, by the looks of it, in the form of Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic. The movie is being as one that comments on the government, and how the government is failing in upholding the values on which it was made. The first song from the film has been released today. Titled Gaana of Republic, the song is a peppy and foot-tapping one, which comments on the executive, legislative and judicial aspects of our government.

The song is composed by Manisharma, and sung by Anurag Kulkarni, Dhanunjay, Hymath Mohammed, Aditya Iyengar and Pruthvi Chandra, while Rahman wrote the lyrics. On the other hand, Aishwarya Rajesh is the leading lady of the film, while Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna are playing supporting roles in the film. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
