From Top Director To Troubles: Lokesh’s Current Phase

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s career took a sudden turn after the release of his recent film Coolie. Once regarded as one of the most wanted directors in Tamil cinema, he is now facing difficulties in starting his next project.

Though he managed to bring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth together for a big multi-starrer, the film is being handed over to another director. His planned superhero film with Aamir Khan was also shelved after the poor response to Coolie.

Lokesh then turned his focus to Khaithi 2, the much-awaited sequel with Karthi. However, fresh reports suggest that the project is also facing problems due to creative differences between Lokesh and Karthi.

The actor had waited for years for the sequel, but Lokesh chose to prioritize other stars like Vijay and Rajinikanth.

Now, with no major options left, Lokesh returned to Khaithi 2, but the film is currently on hold. Official clarity is awaited.
