From Manipur To London: Boong’s Proud Moment

Boong has made India proud by winning at the 79th British Academy Film Awards. The film won the Best Children’s & Family Film award. It is the first feature film of Manipuri director Lakshmipriya Devi.

The lovely film is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment. Many celebrities and leaders congratulated the team.

Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar praised the film on social media. Yumkham Erabot Khemchand Singh also shared his happiness and congratulated the team happily.

The film even beat popular titles like Zootopia and Lilo & Stitch to win the award. The Ministry of Culture called it a proud moment for Indian cinema especially for regional films from the Northeast.
