The rift between Manchu brothers Vishnu and Manoj is well known, and just as things calm down, a new controversy arises. Manoj made his comeback with Bhairavam, which released yesterday.
On the same night, Vishnu shocked everyone in Chennai by claiming that the hard disk of his upcoming film Kannappa went missing and blamed Manoj’s close aides for it.
The hard disk reportedly contains 90 minutes of crucial footage. A police case has already been filed in Hyderabad, and the investigation is underway.
Vishnu is taking the matter seriously and plans to pressure Manoj in every way to recover it. While Manoj remains silent, Vishnu has openly accused him, pushing the issue toward legal action.
The theft reportedly happened months ago but came to light recently when the VFX team was contacted. Their father Mohan Babu hasn’t commented. Kannappa is scheduled for release on June 27th, and promotions are ongoing.
