Starring Karthi and Tamannaah as the lead pair, 2010 film, Paiyaa is even released in Telugu as Awara as was well received by the Telugu audience as well.
News also came out that for the second installment of Paiyaa, the director approached Arya and Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor for the lead roles.However, responding to the news in circulation regarding Janhvi Kapoor’s Tamil debut, her father cum reputed filmmaker Boney Kapoor tweeted”Dear Media Friends, This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors”.
Now, the latest buzz is that Lingusamy is planning to roped in long leg beauty Pooja Hegde for the female lead in Paiyaa 2. To get clarity on the latest buzz on Paiyaa 2, we have to wait and see for some more time.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor’s South debut is almost confirmed for Tollywood star NTR and director Koratala Siva’s upcoming film. Tentatively titled NTR30, an official announcement regarding Janhvi Kapoor’s entry into the project is likely to be out on March 6th on the eve of Janhvi Kapoor’s birthday. Being bankrolled by Yuvasudha Arts banner in association with NTR Arts banner, NTR30 is expected to go on the floors from March third week.
