Four-Hour Film: Aditya Dhar Explains Why

The runtime of Dhurandhar 2 has become a hot topic, as the film is nearly four hours long. Director Aditya Dhar explained why it turned out this lengthy.

He said it was very hard to cut scenes during editing because every part felt important to the story.

He admitted he was confused about what to remove as even short 10-second moments were originally shot for around two minutes. Instead of trimming them he kept those portions to maintain the film’s natural feel and realism.

According to him the goal was to make the film as real and engaging as possible even if it meant a longer runtime.

All are enjoying the film and appreciating director’s effort and craftsmanship despite its length.
