Former heroine Jayaprada to contest in upcoming elections

Former heroine and noted politician Jayaprada started her political career in Telugu Desam Party a few decades back. Later, she switched loyalties to the Samajwadi Party and sailed with senior politician Amar Singh for a long time in UP.

During the 2019 elections, Jayaprada again switched loyalties to BJP. For the past three years, Jayaprada is seen actively participating in the UP state BJP activities.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that the BJP high command to planning to bring Jayaprada to Telangana. Reportedly, the Delhi leaders are keen on making Jayaprada contest from Telangana for the upcoming general elections. However, to get clarity on the news we have to wait and see for a few more months.
