Former anchor and TV host Lobo, also known as Mohammed Khayyum became popular for his unique dressing style and energetic mannerisms.
His music show on Star MAA was a big hit, and he later acted in more than 100 films. He also gained fame with the younger generation after appearing in Bigg Boss Telugu 5. Lobo is also a close relative of comedian Ali.
Now, Lobo has been sentenced to one year in jail by the Janagam District Court in a road accident case. The case goes back to 2018, when Lobo and his team were returning from Warangal after a video shoot.
The car he was driving hit an auto at Raghunadhpalli. Two people in the auto died on the spot, and several others were injured, including his team members.
Police registered a rash driving case, and after seven years of trial, the Court found him guilty. Apart from the jail sentence, he was also fined Rs. 12,500.
