Though in flops, Vijay Deverakonda’s craze has gone down a bit. He is now playing the lead role in the movie Fighter which is being directed by Puri Jagannath. The project is a Pan Indian one that is based on the backdrop of Boxing. The movie’s shooting started in Mumbai before the lockdown and has continued there for around 40 days until the pandemic situation forced to halt the shoot.
Puri Jagannath since the lockdown is staying in Mumbai and is working on his other project scripts. Though some of the Telugu films have started to resume the shoots, there is no update from Fighter’s team. It is said that Puri Jagannath wants to resume the shoot in a foreign location where the pandemic is under control. It is also said that the film will have a foreign boxer in a key role i.e., from Chinese/Taiwan. That role is of a champion boxer. More details are awaited.
