Energetic hero Ram is celebrating his birthday today. On this occasion, we would like to notify the films that were rejected by Ram in his 14 years film career.
Reportedly, after the cult love story Ye Maaya Chesave, versatile director Gautam Menon planned yet another romantic love story titled, Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project with Ram. But as he not convinced with the story, Ram rejected the movie and later it went to Nani and was released in 2012.
During the same time, Ram signed a masala entertainer titled, Kandireega under the direction of Santhosh Srinivas and tasted a huge success. Later, the same director planned to make his second project Rabhasa with Ram but due to unknown reasons the project never materialized. Later, the same film went to NTR which had a release in 2014.
After delivering two back to back hits such as Pataas and Supreme, successful director Anil Ravipudi approached Ram for his third project but due to reasons unknown, the project was shelved after the formal announcement. Later, Anil made the same script with Ravi Teja as Raja The Great and tasted decent success.
On the whole, among three movies rejected by Ram, Rabhasa and Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu failed to do magic at the box office but Raja The Great attained hit status.
