During Diwali festival weekend three films such as Rajinikanth’s Peddhanna, Vishal-Arya’s Enemy and young actor Santhosh Shoban’s Manchu Rojulochaie had a theatrical release in the twin Telugu states. While Peddhanna and Manchi Rojulochaie opened to disastrous reports, Enemy got good appreciation for its action part.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that by the end of the four-day extended weekend, the three films failed miserably to generate good revenues at the ticket windows. As per the trade reports, Peddhanna collected a distributor share of Rs 3.16 crore with a gross of 5.4 crore. Coming to Enemy, the film generated a share of Rs 2.12 crore and a gross of Rs 3.51 crore. Other the other hand, Manchu Rojulochaie collected Rs 1.9 crore share with a gross of Rs 3.32 crore by the end of the four-day weekend.
While Peddhanna directed by Siva is going to end up a decent hit in Tamil Nadu as Annaatthe, Vishal-Arya’s Enemy under the direction of Anand Shankar may attain average status. But Director Maruthi’s Manchi Rojulochaie is already declared as a washout disaster theatrically.
