We are always intrigued with questions like are we alone in this Universe? Are they any other life forms like aliens? And is the life common phenomenon in the Universe? More than these self-help questions, we also face doubts like what can we do to built a house on Mars? How much will it cost to travel to outer space and safely comeback? What if an asteroid hit earth? When we read these questions or imagine answers we tend to get a good science fiction action film in Space and immediately remember Hollywood classics like Interstellar, 2001: A Space Odyssey and many more Space genre films.
When we see in our 83 years of history, Telugu Cinema has never produced a space film. You may argue they are costly to make. But we did make many mythological films on Lord Krishna and Lord Rama but did not try much to handle space films. But there is always first for everything and Sankalp Reddy, who made war at sea film, Ghazi this year is ready to make another film, that will push the boundaries. He is looking to make a Space thriller and the lead actor will be Varun Tej.
Varun Tej after the movie, Tholi Prema will start shooting for this movie. The script of the film is getting fine tuned as we speak and it will start production next year for sure. Before, we see our first Desi-Space film, we will see a Tamil Space film, Tik Tik Tik with Jayam Ravi and Nivetha Peturaj of Mental Madilo as leads on 26th of January.
