It is well-established news that senior Tamil filmmaker Mani Ratnam is foraying into the digital world with a 9-episode web series titled, Navarasa. He is bankrolling the web film in collaboration with digital giant Netflix and noted directors such as Gautham Menon, KV Anand, Karthick Naren, Rathindran Prasad, Ponram and Bejoy Nambiar have directed each episode in the film.
Noted actors Aravind Swami and Siddharth are making their directorial debut with one each episode in the 9-episode film. For the past few days, news has been circulating among digital circles is that Navarasa will be out on August 6th on the streaming platform. Now, confirming the same, Netflix South management has unveiled a release date video. The promotional promo has all the stars, who did the key role in each episode of the film and their emotions are captured on an interesting note without any single dialogue and grabbed the attention of the viewers.
Starring Tamil stars Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Aravind Swami, Siddharth, Prakash Raj, actress Revathi, Malayalam stars Dulquer Salmaan, Parvathy Thiruvothu among others in lead roles in different segments of this anthology film, the web series is carrying high expectations among the netizens.
