First film to ask you pay for watching a trailer – Powerstar!

Ram Gopal Varma knows how to play with audience’s minds and use their vulnerability to pay for watching anything scandalous or sexually arousing. He launched his service, RGV’s World Theatre recently with Climax and Naked. Both the movies were launched with Rs. 100 and Rs. 200, pay per view rates. Now, the director has come up with a plan to make money of showing trailers as well.

RGV is using the popularity of Pawan Kalyan now to not just make a satirical biopic about his state after 2019 elections, Powerstar movie and he wants to make the money with trailers as well. To watch the trailer of the film, Powerstar, viewers have to pay Rs. 50 per view. This might seem like pushing things a little bit too much but he might just announce that the idea is a great success and made tonnes of money.
