Jani Master has been charged by the Raidurgam police in Cyberabad for sexually assaulting a 21-year-old female choreographer.
The complaint says he assaulted her multiple times during shoots in Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, as well as at her home in Narsingi.
The case, which started as a zero FIR at Raidurgam, has been moved to the Narsingi police for further investigation.
Shikha Goel, Director General of the Women Safety Wing Telangana, has recommended that the film industry conduct an internal inquiry under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act and also file a police report.
This comes after a previous complaint in June from a dancer named Satish, who accused Jani Master of harassment related to film work.
Jani Master has not yet responded to the allegations. If he decides to comment, more information might be revealed.
