Finally date set for Khaidi Pre release Function

Megastar Chiranjeevi is known for being a successful hero of Telugu Cinema who took the business of Cinema to new highs with continuous blockbusters at least one per year especially after Khaidi. After Khaidi he was part of movies like Vijetha, Swayamkrushi, Challenge, Khaidi No 786, Pasivadi Pranam, Gang Leader, Gharana Mogudu, Indra, Tagore and Shankar Dada MBBS. But he stopped being part of movies as a lead after Shankardada Zindabad 7 years ago to concentrate on politics. Now he wanted to do movies again for his fans who were eagerly waiting to watch him on screen again. But the politics have proved to be bit more costly.

His Khaidi No 150, the prestigious 150th movie is releasing for Sankranthi at the same time as Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th movie and the permission to hold a pre release function and audio function in Vijayawada was denied twice for the team. The real reason behind the denial was believed to be jealousy and insecurity by Mega fans but on paper the officers reasoned that they cannot control that much crowd during the time. Well whatever the reason might be without any major function Konidela Productions doesn’t want to bring the movie just like that.

Even they have held back theatrical trailer release to show it during the function. Well, Ram Charan and his team have finally decided on a venue. It will be in Guntur at Hailand held on January 7th. This is the final postponement it seems. The team wanted to have the function on 25th December as Audio Release function first then changed it to 5th January as Pre release Function. Now 7th is the date and on that day only the official date will be announced it seems. But as per distributors and theatre owners the release date is set for 11th most probably.
