Films should never be banned

Rajinikanth has taken a new avatar as Kaala. He is playing a highly influential person in Mumbai who tries to secure the lives of Tamil and dark-skinned people, basically, South Indians, in Mumbai. Nana Patekar for the first time is playing as an antagonist in a Rajni film and the early reports state that their scenes are the highlight of the film. Still, the movie has a low buzz when compared to any Rajni film. In Karnataka, the film is threatened to be banned by political forces.

The actor reacted to all such threats in his own style. He said, “No films should be banned from public viewing. Films are an art form and they are made to entertain people. So, banning them is a highly convoluted view of mixing politics and cinema. Cinema is just a reflection of society and many work hard behind one project. So, banning them means discrediting many creative minds hard work and politics should never be mixed with films.”

He then continued to say, “Few people are reporting with half knowledge. There is absolutely no way that I would let my film be banned. There are many Kannadigas and other language speaking people who wants to watch the movie. By God’s grace I have a good fan following and I like to see that they are all entertained by my films for sure.
