Female Lead Locked in Vijay Deverakonda’s Next

A project in the combination of Vijay Deverakonda and director Parasuram Petla was formally announced a couple of months back. Top producer Dil Raju will be bankrolling this crazy project.

Reports also came out that Vijay Deverakonda is suggesting Pooja Hegde’s name as the female lead in the movie. Since Jana Gana Mana aka JGM features Vijay and Pooja have been shelved, Vijay Deverakonda has asked the makers of his new film to rope in as the female lead in Parasuram Petla’s film. Now, the latest reports suggest that Mrunal Thakur is finalized as the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Parasuram Petla’s film. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out shortly.

Said to be a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Geetha Govindam, the expectations for the project are sky-high among moviegoers. Will Vijay Deverakonda and his team repeat the same magic with the second installment of the film? Remains to be seen.
