Female lead locked for Vijay’s next?

A massive project in the combination of Kollywood star Vijay and Tollywood director Vamshi Padipally was formally announced a couple of months back. Said to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project, the film is going to be bankrolled by Dil Raju.

Earlier, reports came out that young beauty Kiara Advani who is doing the female lead role in Ram Charan-Shankar’s film is almost finalized as the female lead in Vijay’s project as well. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the makers dropped the idea of roped in Kiara Advani and are keen on finalizing Kriti Sanon for the female lead role in Vijay’s film.

However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited. As her immediate project, Kriti Sanon will be seen as goddess Sita in Prabhas’ mythological drama, Adipurush.
