February 2021 roundup: Another happy month

February is generally a dull month for Telugu Cinema. 2021 has been a fantastic year for Tollywood so far. Telugu Cinema is the first industry in the Indian Cinema to recover and is bringing smiles to the faces of distributors and exhibitors. After having a fantastic January, Tollywood hasn’t bogged down. February is another promising month.

Zombie Reddy is the first film to release in February and it ended up as a decent hit. The next week’s release Uppena is the latest sensation. The film raked in close to 50 Cr share and is the biggest hit in medium budget flicks in recent times. Allari Naresh has given a strong comeback this year.

His Naandhi has crossed the breakeven and is giving decent profits. It is a hit after seven years for Allari Naresh. However, Nithiin’s Check failed to meet the expectations. Kapatadhaari, Chakra has failed to reach the breakeven as well.

Overall, February is another happy month for Tollywood.
