Farhan Akhtar Set For Important Role In Sports Drama

Aamir Khan is all set to reunite with director Ashutosh Gowariker after 25 years for a new sports drama.

After a classic film “Lagaan” the duo is now coming together for a movie based on the life of legendary Indian cricketer Lala Amarnath. The shooting of the film is expected to begin soon without fail.

According to few reports, actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has been approached to play Aamir’s close friend in the movie. The script for the untitled sports drama has been written by renowned director Rajkumar Hirani.

The film will be jointly produced by Excel Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani. The makers are planning to begin shooting from October this year.

Apart from this film, Aamir Khan is also preparing for the much-awaited sequel to “3 Idiots,” which is expected to go on floors very soon.
