Farhan Akhtar recently looked back on his 24 year journey in films highlighting the importance of humility, teamwork and continuous learning.
Known for his directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai, Farhan has built a strong and lovely place for himself in Bollywood.
In an interview he spoke about the roles closest to him, naming Imran and Adi.
He explained that while it is easier to copy external traits the real challenge lies in capturing the spirit of a character.
Over time Farhan has shifted from action driven roles to exploring stillness and inner struggles. He believes his longevity in the industry comes from staying humble.
For him filmmaking is always teamwork. “You can’t do anything alone. Ego must stay outside”, he says, stressing that collaboration keeps creativity alive.
