A wave of sadness has spread across the TFI and political circles with the passing of legendary actor Kota Srinivasa Rao.
He breathed his last at 4:00 AM on Sunday, July 13th 2025, after struggling with health issues for some time.
He was more than just an actor he was a pillar of Telugu cinema. With a career spanning over four decades he acted in more than 750 films.
Known for his strong screen presence sharp dialogue delivery and amazing roles he effortlessly portrayed everything from menacing villains to comic uncles and complex characters.
Apart from films he also played a role in politics. He served as an MLA between 1999 and 2004 representing the BJP during its alliance with the TDP.
Though he lost in 2004 and stepped away from politics he didn’t lose his shine in films and remained a beloved figure.
