Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja has made a return to theatres, much to the delight of his fans who had been waiting eagerly. However, the celebration has been mixed with disappointment.
Reports from fans reveal that nearly 20 minutes of the film’s original content has been removed. Key scenes like the “Sunday Monday” song, the “Saami Shikaram” sequence, a powerful dialogue where the hero questions if God is seen in him, and the Dean’s kidnapping scene have all been cut.
Fans raised concerns with the theatre management, but they were told that the print delivered to them did not include these scenes.
The issue has now reached the film’s team. Responding promptly Team Khaleja confirmed that they are aware of the problem and are working on fixing it.
Fans are now hoping the missing scenes will be restored soon, so they can enjoy the film in its complete form.
