Fahadh Faasil’s next gearing up for a direct OTT release?

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is busy with multiple projects. One among them is Malik, a political thriller under the direction of acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan. The film has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities last year itself and the post-production activities are also going on at a brisk pace.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz circulating among the South media circles is that Malik is going to skip its theatrical release and opt for a direct OTT streaming soon. Reportedly, as there is no clue on when the ongoing Covid situation returns to normalcy across the state of Kerala anytime soon, the makers are planning to go for a direct OTT release and are in discussion with a few leading platforms regarding the same. If everything falls in place, an official announcement regarding Malik’s OTT release is expected to be out soon.

Bankrolled by Anto Joseph, Malik also stars Nimisha Sajayan and Joju George in key roles.
