Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s pan-India project, Pushpa-The Rise was released on December 17th across the globe. Opened to mixed reports, the film has witnessed tremendous revenues in all areas by the end of its first weekend.
As per the trade reports, Pushpa has minted a whopping Rs 49.9 crore share from twin Telugu states by the end of its three-day run at the box office. On the other hand, Pushpa has collected a decent share of Rs 8.5 crore from the Rest of India( Including the dubbed version of Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam) during its first weekend. Coming to overseas, Pushpa has registered Rs 8.8 crore share in the first three days. Overall, Pushpa has generated a massive Rs 67.10 crore worldwide share during its first weekend.
As Pushpa’s pre-release business was done for Rs 146 crore, the film has to continue the same momentum at the box office for the next couple of weeks to emerge as a clean hit. Will Pushpa emerge as the winner at the box office? Needs to be seen.
