Exclusive: Versatile actress in talks for Rajinikanth’s next

A film in the combination of Superstar Rajinikanth and director Nelson Dilipkumar was formally announced a few months back. Tentatively titled Thalaivar169, the film is expected to go on the floors in June.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that versatile actress Ramya Krishna is under consideration for a negative shaded character in Rajinikanth-Nelson’s movie. If the news turns into reality eventually, the film marks the second time collaboration of Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishna after the 1999 blockbuster Padayappa( Narasimha in Telugu). It is widely known that in Padayappa also Ramya Krishna played a negative shaded character which brought her good accolades from all quarters back then.

Coming back to Thalaivar169, the film is going to be bankrolled by Sun Pictures banner. Anirudh will be scoring soundtracks for the movie.
