There’s a lot of hype surrounding Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film, Vakeel Saab. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film is a Telugu remake of Hindi film Pink, which was helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdry. Late Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor has purchased the remake rights of the film. He has teamed up with Dil Raju for the Pink Telugu remake. We have exclusively learnt that actor Vamsi Krishna has been roped in as the main antagonist in Vakeel Saab. The shooting of the film is almost over with only few sequences left to be shot.
Vamsi Krishna has acted in many Telugu films including Desamuduru, Julai and Attarintiki Dareedi. He has been staying away from Telugu for sometime now. In the film, he plays the main villain who harasses Nivetha Thomas and threatens her friends. Vakeel Saab is an important film in Pawan Kalyan’s career as the film imparts an important message about women’s safety and consent. The film features Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla as the female leads. The film is all set to hit the theatres on May 15. An official announcement regarding the film is yet to be out. Recently, the makers released the first single Maguva Maguva on social media.
