Kantara Chapter 1, a prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara, is gearing up for release on October 2nd during Dusshera. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the movie is a mythological action drama.
As the release date approaches, the team has started nationwide promotions, with a grand pre-release event held in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.
Jr NTR attended the event as the chief guest, along with Rishab Shetty, heroine Rukmini Vasanth, and the film’s crew. Mythri Movie Makers are handling the release in the Nizam region.
Producer Ravi Shankar praised Rukmini, revealing she also plays the heroine in NTR and Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Dragon.
He called her a strong performer who can stand alongside NTR. He also confirmed that Dragon will start its new schedule next month without delays, promising a huge release.
The film features Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram and Gulshan Devaiah, with music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath and production by Hombale Films.
