Exciting Update On Baahubali Animated Film

The Baahubali franchise is back in the spotlight with new projects in development. The team is working on Baahubali: The Eternal War which is a two part 3D animated film planned for release in 2027 without fail.

At the same time Netflix will release a series titled Baahubali: The Torchbearer on June 26th.

Prabhas recently shared that The Eternal War was showcased at the Work in Progress section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026.

He said the team is creating something very much special for sure and expressed great excitement about its global release. The film has been selected as a key Indian project at the festival giving international audiences a first look at its visuals.

Directed by Ishan Shukla and produced by Arka Media Works with a Rs. 120 crore budget while the story continues after Amarendra Baahubali’s death and explores a cosmic war between Devas and Asuras.
