Krithi Shetty got a dream debut in Tollywood, with director Buchi Babu Sana’s Uppena, which marked the debut of Panja Vaishnav Tej. The film also marked the first full-length role for Vijay Sethupathi in Telugu, and the actor stole the show, as expected. The real surprise was Krithi Shetty, who turned in a highly impressive and mature performance, putting her on the radar of every filmmaker in Tollywood.
It was recently said that Krithi Shetty was offered a role in Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film with director Harish Shankar. It was said that she would be playing the daughter of Pawan’s brother in the film. While this is one of the many rumours spreading around about Krithi, it is now being said that Krithi has been offered to play the lead opposite Naga Chaitanya, in Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana sequel, Bangarraju.
Bangarraju’s script was okayed a long time ago, but the film is yet to go onto sets. Naga Chaitanya will be joining Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna in this sequel. Nagarjuna is said to have given Krithi a good offer as well. It is now to be seen if Krithi says yes to the project or not. On the other hand, Krithi is currently busy with several projects, including Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy, Ram Pothineni and Linguswamy’s film, and Suddheer Babu’s film, along with several others.
