Vijay Anthony, a literal unknown music composer for Telugu audience turned it around with just one film, ‘Bicchagadu’. The movie became a sensational hit in Telugu bringing in double triple profits to buyers. His next Bethaludu, immediately became a talking point and many wanted to ride the tide. But the movie did not become a profitable one and the actor regrets the promotional strategy in Telugu. He said that the movie should have been promoted better in Telugu as it was in Tamil which resulted in film being a success there. He wants to be a part of a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu some time soon and he wants that to be a proper bilingual with technical crew from both industry industries working along with actors.
He interacted with media about his latest release, Yaman and said the movie is a political drama but doesn’t take digs at current political situation. They have been penning their script from last 5 years it seems and the movie’s story is appropriate in any political scenario it seems. The major attraction in the movie was said to be the interactions of him with various villains in understanding the politics in crude manner. He also adimitted candidly that he is not a good actor so he needs good script to carry forward. He also said that he doesn’t suggest others are doing bad scripts but accepting him as an actor for audience was made easy and possible only because of the story and scripts.
He then added that his personal life before ‘Bicchagadu’ was similar to that in the movie and everything changed after the release of the movie. He said he would thankful to each and every one of the audience members for loving him in the role and because of acting only he is enjoying a certain love. He expressed his wish to join politics provided if he ever finds movies boring.
