Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s stylish actioner, Amigos is gearing up for a February 10th release. Directed by Rajendra Reddy, the film’s first look teaser and promotional stuff have been receiving positive feedback from the netizens. Kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath is the female lead in the film.
Meanwhile, this afternoon the makers released a romantic video song from the film. Titled Enno Ratrulosthayi, the song is a remake of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s song with the same title from the 1992 film, Dharma Kshetram. The song was originally penned by legendary Veturi. SP Balasubramanyam and KS Chitra provided vocals for the original superhit song. Maestro Ilayaraja composed the tune which is quite popular even today.
Coming to Kalyan Ram’s song, the upgraded version is sung by SPB’s son SP Charan and Sameera Bharadwaj. They both did a fine job without damaging the original version. Though most of the song has original flavor, Amigos music composer Ghibran added a few changes without disturbing the soul in Ilayaraja’s magical composition. Overall, Kalyan Ram and Ashika Ranganath’s Enno Ratrulosthayi is a perfect recreation of Balakrishna and Divya Bharati’s original version. The chemistry between Kalyan Ram and Ashika also works nicely in the five-minute video song.
Kalyan Ram is playing a triple role in this stylish actioner which is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. S Sundar Rajan is the cinematographer for the movie. Thammiraju is the editor.
