In the second teaser for his upcoming movie Selfiee, Akshay Kumar spars with Emraan Hashmi. In the movie, Emraan plays an RTO inspector, whilst Akshay portrays a superstar. Emraan Hashmi and Akshay Kumar fight in the new Selfiee trailer, despite the latter being the other’s biggest supporter. Diana Penty opposite Akshay and Nushrrat Bharuccha as Emraan’s wife can also be seen in the second trailer.
Akshay posted the new trailer on Instagram, saying, “Aam aadmi ki kahaani toh bahot sun li, ab Vijay Kumar ki bhi sun lo (you have heard the story of the common man many times, now listen to Vijay Kumar).”
Emraan is shown in the trailer waiting in front of a large crowd to catch a glimpse of his favourite star Vijay Kumar (Akshay Kumar). Emraan’s officer persona can be seen instructing Akshay as they engage in combat, “Raavan ko Shri Ram se takrane ki himmat isliye mili kyunki wo Shri Ram ka bhakt tha, mujhe aapse takrane ki himmat mujhe aapse hi mili hai (Raavan got the courage to fight with Ram because he was his devotee, I have found the courage to fight with you from you).”
As RTO inspector Omprakash Agarwal (Emraan Hashmi) orders Vijay Kumar (Akshay Kumar) to get out of his car as he speeds on the streets of Bhopal without even having a driver’s licence, it becomes clear what went wrong between them. It demonstrates how Omprakash is the target of Vijay Kumar’s admirers who attack his home after he argues with their idol. As a result, Omprakash’s son sustains injuries. Akshay addresses a group of media representatives at the conclusion, saying that it is now his chance to share his tale.
