SS Rajamouli, who created a great world of Baahubali, with his visual imagination has been dodging the question about his next since he finished Baahubali2. He always maintained that he needs at least six months to completely decide on his next and until he doesn’t find a good story to tell he can’t announce a project just for the sake of it. Meanwhile many rumours are going around that the director might team up with Allu Arjun or Akhil Akkineni for DVV Danayya or KL Narayana, respectively.
Well, the movie Baahubali2 is continuing to reach new heights as we speak at the box office. The movie is well on course to create a unique record for being the first Indian movie ever to collect 1500 crores at Worldwide box office. Even just the Hindi version has collected more than 300 crores Nett already and trade pundits are unable to predict where will the movie end in the full run. The summer release time worked like magic for the movie and in several areas it is still managing 80 to 85% fulls on weekdays as well. The profits for everyone associated are expected to be higher than what they have expected in the beginning.
We got a first hand information from few sources that Rajamouli is thinking about making Eega sequel as his next project. He wants to make it with a budget of 150 crs and high quality visuals that no one has attempted yet. Again, he wants to get the story tighter than the first one and might approach Nani or another younger hero for this movie as per the sources. We cannot authentic the information as Rajamouli still has to confirm his next and in a world of opportunities like what Rajamouli have at his disposal today, he can change his mind at any time and choose to do something that seems right to him for the moment.
