India is still suffering from COVID-19. Daily we are witnessing a record number of cases. The situation in the Telugu states is no different either. The highest spike in the Telugu states is continuing. Though Tollywood has initiated the plans to resume shooting, filmmakers are in no mood to take any risk. So all the shooting plans are for now canceled. Filmmakers have come to terms that it is almost impossible to resume shoot before August.
With this, all the films which are being planned for Dussehra release are now being postponed. Sankranthi is their next destination. Now, as per the latest reports are targeting Sankranthi 2021. These include biggies and medium budget flicks as well. So we can now come to the conclusion that there are very bleak chances of movie releases in 2020 as of now. More clarity regarding this will emerge by August.
