Dushara Vijayan is extremely happy because her performance in “Vettaiyan” is receiving praise from fans. The film, directed by TJ Gnanavel, was released in theaters on October 10th and stars Dushara alongside the legendary actor Rajinikanth.
In a post on her Twitter account, Dushara shared a picture with Rajinikanth and expressed that she never thought she would work with him.
She wrote, “There are many things I’ve imagined for myself, but this was something I never even dreamed of. I never planned to work with The Superstar, The Thalaivar. My first day and first shot were with him, and it felt surreal. Seeing a caravan with my name next to his, sitting beside him, and acting together was magical. My earliest memory as a Thalaivar fan was waiting to come home after school to watch his movies. Now, I’m working with him. I feel so lucky. This is my ‘Padayappa’ moment”.
She also thanked her fans, saying, “I feel like all my hard work and patience have paid off. Once again, I want to say ‘Orey Superstar, Orey Thalaivar, Chancey illey.’ I sincerely thank everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout my journey. I promise to work even harder in the future. I love you all!”
There are certain things that I’ve imagined would happen with me, but this was something that I never even dared to dream of. To imagine that I would work with The Superstar, The Thalaivar someday was not even a part of the plan.
