Dull phase continues in Bollywood

Amidst decent expectations, Bollywood star duo John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor’s Ek Villain Returns had a theatrical release yesterday. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film received negative reviews from critics.

Cashing in on the franchise craze, EVR minted Rs 7 crore revenues on its opening day. The major complaint regarding the movie is though the film has a couple of interesting twists, the narrative luck the punch in the execution. Outdated treatment stands tall as a demerit for the film.

Even glamour dose from Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria is wasted completely. With the result of Ek Villain Returns, it is evident that the dull phase of Bollywood is continuing this week as well.
