Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) is one of the top music directors in Telugu cinema after legends like Keeravani and Ilaiyaraaja.
He delivered many hit albums over the years. Before Pushpa 2: The Rule, DSP used to charge around Rs 6 crores per film.
Now, he has increased his fee to Rs 12 crores plus GST which shocked many producers. Because of this, several Telugu producers and directors are looking for other music directors.
On the other hand, Anirudh Ravichander charges over Rs 15 crores but music rights usually recover his pay as per reports.
DSP is acting in Yellamma and composing for Ustaad Bhagat Singh. He also has a project with Sukumar lined up.
