Drug Influence in Malayalam Industry Scares Tiny Tom

In light of recent rumours of a drug invasion, Malayalam star Tiny Tom recently admitted he is afraid to allow his kid work in the film industry.

According to Mollywood star Tiny Tom, he is afraid to let his kid into the Malayalam film industry due to rumours of a “drug influx” there.

Tom stated: “I have only one son and recently he got an offer to act in a film in the part of the son of a superstar. This was said during the opening of the cultural programme of the Kerala University at Alappuzha. Given that we are aware of the drug invasion in the Malayalam film business, my wife refused to grant me permission to act.

Tom, who is also a board member of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), urged the large group of students present to use their addiction to art and cultural expressions rather than narcotics.

“I very well know an actor here, who is addicted to drugs and has started to lose his teeth and very soon his bones will start to crack. But when this is said, people say, but he acts very well,” added Tom

Additionally, he stated that he will appear before authorities to provide his testimony in the investigation into the “influx” of pharmaceuticals in the business.

Saji Cherian, the minister of culture and cinema for Kerala, had expressed his profound amazement over claims of drug use in the Malayalam film industry. The state Excise department has started an investigation into the claims made by the significant players in the Malayalam film industry.
