Drishyam starring Mohanlal and Meena became a huge success and later turned into a huge popular franchise with remakes in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
The much awaited Drishyam 3 is now getting ready for a summer release. However director Jeethu Joseph has clearly stated that this will be the final part of the franchise.
He has confirmed that he does not plan to continue the story beyond the third film putting an end to any future sequel plans.
According to industry talk many feel the franchise has reached its natural end and even many fans are said to prefer a proper conclusion rather than stretching the story further.
In Telugu the first two parts were remade with Venkatesh in the lead. As of now there is no update about a Telugu version of Drishyam 3.
