In the Dream Girl 2 trailer, Pathaan calls the new “Dream Girl” and reveals her that his new movie Jawan will be out soon.
Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, who have unveiled the trailer for the movie. Released on the night of Valentine’s Day, it introduces the new Dream Girl without revealing her face, but it is clear that Ayushmann is this time dressing up as a girl in addition to speaking in a girl’s voice. This year’s July 7 movie premiere date is set.
Ananya posted the teaser on Instagram late on Monday, “I thought sign karne par film mein ek heroine thi, yeh @pooja___dreamGirl ko sab kyun call kar rahe hain guys (I thought there was only one heroine in the film at the time of signing the project, why is everyone calling this Pooja now)? #7KoSaathMein #DreamGirl2 releasing in cinemas on 7th July, 2023.”
The teaser begins with a woman sitting on the bed with her back to the camera while wearing a lehenga and a glittery backless top. ‘Pathaan’ calls her and wishes her a happy Valentine’s Day. She talks to him while applying her cosmetics. He tells her, “meri Jawan aa aarahi hai (my Jawan is releasing)” and inquires as to her arrival time. She also states that she will arrive on July 7th.
On the clip that Ayushmann posted, a fan left a comment. ,What a marketing bro, promoted 3 movies.” Another wrote, “Looks like SRK will have cameo in this movie.” Shah Rukh’s next film Jawan is set to premiere on June 2.
Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, and Rajpal Yadav all appear in Dream Girl 2. Under the auspices of Balaji Telefilms Limited, the movie was produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and directed by Raaj Shaandilya. It is the follow-up to the popular 2019 movie Dream Girl, in which Nushrratt Bharuccha and Ayushmann featured. Ayushmann portrayed a hotline caller in the movie who could transform his voice into a girl’s voice.
Originally set for release on June 23, Satya Prem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, will now open one week early on June 29.
Ayushmann previously stated in a statement on the sequel to the Dream Girl film series,”I am super stoked about Dream Girl 2! This is my second outing with Balaji Motion Pictures and I am thankful to Ektaa that she has carried this franchise forward and made it bigger. I have found a friend in Raaj and it’s exciting to team up with him again. Ananya Panday has been paired with me and I am looking forward to seeing the audience’s reaction to our chemistry.”
