Dream Girl 2 Movie Review & Rating

Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Dream Girl 2 has been released in theaters today. Ever since this film was announced, people have been desperate for the release of this film. Let me tell you, this is a sequel to the film Dream Girl which came four years ago. People have high expectations from this film. Today when this film has been released, let’s know how is film!

Story: The story of this film has also progressed with the story of the previous part. Which belongs to father Jagjit Singh (Annu Kapoor) and son Karamveer Singh (Ayushmann Khurrana). As seen in the previous film, Karamveer works in a call center to earn money, the story is the same in this film. Let’s go to the real plot!

In this film, Karamveer Singh gets into debt because of his father. While on the one hand he is burdened with debt, on the other hand, he is in love with Pari (Ananya Pandey) but his father has given Karamveer a condition of getting rich in 6 months. For this, Karamveer once again starts earning money by becoming Pooja. Then many people including Abu Salim, Sona Bhai, Shokiya, and Jumani come into Pooja’s life. Now what happens in the life of Pooja i.e. Karamveer after their arrival, whether Karamveer is able to marry Pari or not, you will have to watch Dream Girl 2!

Performance: Most of the characters in this film have been taken from the old film itself, and like last time, this time Ayushmann Khurrana has won the hearts of people with his acting. She has done a really good acting in the character of Pooja. Annu Kapoor and Vijay Raaz look as fun as ever. Other actors including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Manjot Singh have also acted well. But once again perfection was not seen in Ananya Pandey’s acting. Many times she has not been seen fit in the character.

Technicalities: This time the direction of this film was in the hands of Raj Shandilya. The story and script of the film are well written, due to which Raj may not have got a chance to show his amazing, but the film is well made and woven.

Analysis: Dream Girl is a comedy franchise, its first part was also well-received by the people. Now the second film has also come and like the first part, this film is full of comedy scenes. There are many funny one-liners in the film for which you will have to actively listen. The film laughs a lot but for that, you have to be alert and pay attention to the film. The film is very special for those who go to the theater especially to watch the film to laugh and enjoy.

Verdict: The film completely rests on the shoulders of Ayushmann, The heroine of the film is also Ayushmann because Pooja’s character is better. Ananya Pandey could not show anything special due to which she could not leave a mark. Talking about the shortcoming of this film, like the first film, the music of this film could not be done, the rest of the film is good. You can enjoy the movie by sitting with the family.
